This program will improve participants' ability to:
|
Identify a continuum of emotional and behavioral characteristics attributed to Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
|
Help an ODD youngster effectively redirect behaviors that are damaging their functioning and their future.
|
Provide parents and educators with proven strategies for realizing long-term improvement in this child's behavior. |
![]()
Why is it that ODD youngsters engage in behaviors that mostly hurt themselves ... and do it over and over again?
Why is it that typical interventions, such as more and stronger consequences, generally fail?
Why is it this child seems to gain so much strength from our frustration and anger?
What DO we do with this youngster?
This program will offer insights and ideas in answer these questions ... and more.
