If My Kid's So Nice ... Why's He Driving ME Crazy? This is Dr. Sutton's first book on oppositional and defiant behavior.

101 Ways to Make Your Classroom Special. This book (a bestseller) is especially helpful if you know of a youngster who is doing poorly in school. The whole book is good, but the fifth chapter offers 32 specific ways to encourage a youngster to initiate and complete tasks at school.

    Live Presentations:

Working Effectively with the Difficult, Defiant and Noncompliant Student. This new program was put together at the request of The Bureau of Education and Research. It is the most current one-day program that Dr. Sutton does.

The Oppositional and Defiant Child. This is a live, full-day presentation.

When the Kid Who Can, Won't. This is a live, half-day presentation. It has recently been revised into an additional  "spin-off" program designed exclusively for support staff (counselors, school psychologists, social workers, etc.)
