Pull the Plug on Failure

 

Here is a special offer to those of you who have been directed to this page through the ODD Digest. This page has a link to a .wma audio file, a 24 minute audio program narrated by Dr. James Sutton. It is available for FREE. This audio program, Pull the Plug on Failure, was compiled from a longer program, entitled Shutting Down the Failure Machine, that Dr. Sutton recorded in the Rock 'N Learn Studios in Houston, Texas, a few years back. 

This program is excellent. In it, Dr. Sutton goes through the three stages of failure for the troubled youngster: Stress, Struggle and Submission. He provides many actual examples from his vast experience in the assessment of young people, then goes on to provide ten ways we can encourage and help the child or adolescent plagued by difficulty and failure. (Brad Caudle, the engineer on this recording, even threw in some interesting sound effects!)
