This section contains a number of articles written by James D. Sutton, EdD. Several of these articles deal with the subject of oppositional defiant disorder and other kinds of oppositional and defiant behavior and noncompliance in capable young people. Dr. Sutton is a nationally recognized psychologist, author and speaker.
Some of Dr. Sutton's live presentations and training are open to the public. Although these programs are generally open to child service professionals, parents are encouraged to attend.
